DAY 3, Sunday - Jekyll Island, Continue to Savannah
Depart St. Augustine and travel north along the unspoiled Georgia coast of vast marshlands, winding rivers and beautiful beaches to Jekyll Island, majestically situated in the midst of Georgia's fabled "Golden Isles". Along with its beaches and pleasant climate, the island is famous for its austere Jekyll Island Club, where some of America's elite families and socialites vacationed, such as the Morgans, Rockefellers and Vanderbilts. Enjoy a narrated tram tour of Jekyll Island's Historic District and hear more about the fascinating stories of the island's beginnings and development by the "rich and famous" of the late 1800s. Continue to Savannah for an evening at leisure or join the optional Savannah Evening Cruise to experience Georgia’s historic “first city” and her thriving port from the water’s unique perspective
Optional: Savannah Evening Cruise (PM)

DAY 4, Monday - Guided Trolley Tour of Savannah
A full day to enjoy the beauty of Savannah, often called the "Belle of the South". Experience the city's storied past on the guided trolley tour that takes you through the Historic District, the largest in the country, featuring a myriad of architecturally significant buildings. Highlights include such landmarks as Forsyth Park, River Street, the Waving Girl statue, the Cotton Exchange and Colonial Park. Walk along the cobblestone streets and see the lovely manicured gardens and oak-shaded parks draped with Spanish Moss

Beaufort was one of the Southern towns chosen to be occupied by Union troops, rather than destroyed. See art galleries, antique shops, and boutiques that dot the entire downtown, along with elegant restaurants and quick eateries. Depart for Charleston, a city brimming with historic charm, known for its warm Southern hospitality. Arrive at your hotel for an evening at leisure

Don’t miss the optional tour to one of the oldest working plantations in the South, Boone Hall, where you’ll hear about the day-to-day life of those who ran the plantation as well as their fascinating history.
